Appleby College is focused on Global Education and also on integration of technology into the curriculum. There are 4 Chemistry teachers at the school. Our team has designed a project called “The Butterfly Effect”.

The purpose of the project is for students to find out and think about the effect of one particular event in many different parts of the world. Students are also encouraged to share their various points of view. The discussion and interactions between students is done through social media such as Blogs and Facebook. Eventually we would like to connect our students with students from other parts of the world to have an even more global look at their particular topic.
