Tracy Walker

Canadian Light Source, Outreach coordinator, Saskatchewan

My role is to develop and deliver innovative educational programming for students and educators.

Tracy is the Educational Outreach Coordinator for the Canadian Light Source, Canada’s only synchrotron. Her role is to develop and deliver innovative educational programming for students and educators.

This programming includes an inventive program that enables high school students to work with CLS scientific staff to develop, conduct, and communicate their own research employing synchrotron techniques (Students on the Beamline). This program has been presented at two Canadian and two European Science on Stage Festivals. It has also been studied for emulation at three other synchrotrons worldwide.
