Sally Meadows

Sally Meadows has been creating and delivering innovative science programming for kids and youth for over 14 years. After a diverse career path that has included work as a scientific researcher, editor and writer, as well as business owner and teacher, her role as Program Administrator at the Office of Outreach and Transition Programs at the College of Engineering, University of Saskatchewan, has brought all her creative and academic strengths together in one position.

Sally derives tremendous satisfaction in a) providing opportunities for northern/Aboriginal youth to expand their horizons and find their own unique pathway, and b) being a resource person for teachers, particularly in the areas of geo-science and engineering. Sally is an avid musician, and her hobby of creative journaling brings her passions of writing and photography together in a perfect visual marriage. Sally has a B.Sc. in Chemistry & Geology from Carleton University, an M.Sc. in Earth Sciences from the University of Waterloo and a B.Sc. in Education from the University of Saskatchewan.

She currently resides in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan with her husband and two boys.
